MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!! Honestly I have to say this year was chaotic and very eventful but I wouldn't have it any other way. We all headed to my mom's house Thursday early afternoon and had Pizza and got our last minute Christmas Eve gifts bought. Brandon and the family came out as did our little family. We had an INCREDIBLE Christmas Eve dinner as always! The kids had a blast playing together and could not wait for Santa. Reminds me of how Brandon and I used to be when we were little. Never wanted to sleep....always waited for the reindeer on the roof! :) The only way to describe what the Christmast tree/stockings looked like was PURE INSANITY! There were SO many gifts...we were all truly spoiled and had a great time opening gifts, eating ourselves sick, and playing with all our new gadgets...It was also a time of reflection upon the past year. I am happy to say GOOD BYE to 2009 as it was very rough for our little family. However, we did survive it....just goes to show that the Lord never gives us trials we can't handle. And to all who helped us "handle" the trials...THANK YOU! We couldn't have made it through the year without you all. I am so grateful this time of year for our Savior...what a wonderful time it is to remember just how wonderful He is. JOY TO THE WORLD!! We are so lucky to live in a country where we can worship Him freely. Despite all of the wonderful gifts and goodies recieved...I hope we all truly remember the reason for the season! :) To my wonderful family...both Jon and mine....we love you all so much and so gratful for your love and support each and every day. We are really lucky to have so many wonderful family members who love us unconditionally. We are blessed...my life is blessed! Merry Christmas to all...and to all a Good Night!!
Pictures will be up tomorrow!!! :)

Happy Holidays!!!
So I don't know what happened. I just posted a big long post about my weekend thus far and it never saved and never posted. LAME!!! Guess I'll start over.
As most of you know...my computer is down...so the only time I'll be making posts is when I'm at my mom's house...til it's fixed. So I have had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving so far! We ate ourselfs SILLY on Thursday afternoon. It was fun. My little family, Brandon's little family and my cousin Eric's little family were all over at my parents house to celebrate. SO MUCH YUMMY FOOD!! Feels like you eat non stop! I am VERY thankful for the yummy meal I consumed 3-4 times over! hahahaha!
At 4:45am my sister in law Leslie, brother Brandon and I all took a journey out to the stores. It was crazy but everyone was surprisingly nice. We didn't get trampled, didn't get yelled at and didn't have to fight anyone for our purchases. I got some fun DVD's for us and some great gifts for Jon. We are close to being done with our holiday shopping. I am excited for that to happen! It's getting closer! Christmas is officially around the corner....less than a month away. I can't even believe it.
At this time of the year I often reflect about all of the many things I am grateful for. For starters...our families...we have thee best support system. 2009 hasn't exactly been a year of joy for our family. We took one hit after another and are both anxious to get this year behind us knowing we actually survived all of the trials! OY!! Our families stuck by us and helped us whenever they could. We are forever in their debt....they have done so much for us!!! I'm thankful for the beautiful weather and sunshine we enjoy here in AZ....that in itself brings me joy...I'm thankful for holiday music...no matter what kind of day it is...I pop that in the cd player and life is back to making sense! I'm thankful for my friends...I must say I have got some of the BEST out there...no one can compare to them! I am thankful for my son...who brings more light and joy in to my life than I'll ever know! Motherhood is truly a blessing from above...and I feel so privilleged to be a mom to such a sweet tender hearted boy. I am thankful everyday for all of his little kisses. They bring so much joy to my life! I am thankful for my husband who would do everything and anything for me if it just brought a smile to my face. He's constantly doing things to surprise me....make me smile, make me so appreciative of all he does. I'm thankful he has a job again....and that we're able to keep Nathan out of daycare! He's such a great father to Nathan. There is NOTHING he won't do for that boy!!! I am thankful for my sister Jill. My true best friend!! I am thankful for her texts, emails, and phone calls letting me know she's always there for a laugh, a cry or just to say hello! She inspires me and makes me want to be a better person. I look up to and admire her faith...she's always so positive. I love you Jill!!! I am thankful for a roof over my head, food on my table, and clothes on my back. Just when I think I have it the worst, I always hear of someone who is going something even harder than I could imagine!!! The Lord blesses us in mysterious ways! I am thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ, thankful for the atonement, thankful to know that I will return to Him someday. I am so thankful for forgiveness. I have so many places where I fall short and struggle and need to work harder...and He knows that. He is truly amazing!!! Lastly, I am thankful for my parents. They are the rock in my life. Without them I don't know how I would have survived some of my trials from this past year. They were there every step of the way with thier love, guidance and advice. My mother makes me thrive to be the best mom I can be. I see her and how much she loves her children and how much we all love her, and realize that is the icing on the cake. That is what I want to be to my kids. And my Father....for all the Father's blessings, late night phone calls for advice...emails and texts to say he loves me and that he's rooting for me! My heart is full of gratitude and thanks for all of the many blessings in my life! I hope everyone can take time to reflect upon what they are most thankful for. Happy Holidays!!!

In sleep he sang to me.....in dreams he came!!!
Jon and I were able to go to the play Phantom of the Opera at Gammage theater. This is my second time going but Jon's first. We've both been Phantom fanatics for a LONG time. I was so excited we were able to go. Jon was amazed at the play and their voices. The stage was amazing of course, scene changes done perfectly, voices/music was spot on! It was a blast. I'm gonna try to go one more time before they leave AZ for another 10 years on the 22nd of November. I would go every night if I could. It was so much fun for us to have a date night. Dad came and watched Nathan and they had a ball together playing! Jon and I haven't gone on a "date" since before Nathan was born. So this was a special night for us and we had a great time!!! Much needed! This pic below is us before heading to the show!!! :) SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!!

A boo boo for my Boo Boo!

Today Nathan was full of accidents! He tripped over things that didn't even exist...I swear he has two left feet like his mama! Today however he pulled a stunt that Jon and I have worried about since he learned to walk. In our bedroom we have a full body mirror that leans up against the wall. Nathan loves to go up to it and hit it and then it shakes...we try to prevent this, but he just keeps being persistent! So today after I had pulled him away from the mirror for the 10th time, I turned around to pick up another toy and down comes the mirror. Nathan pulled it down landed on his back and the mirror hit him on the left side scratching his face. Poor guy was freaked out more than hurt luckily it wasn't worse and luckily that mirror didn't bust into a million peices....he clung to Jon and I for the next 30 minutes or so. We gave him a little bit of Tylenol and a ba-ba and eventually he was ready for nap. Woke up an hour and a half later full of energy and happiness and once again tripping over thin air! Crazy silly boy!
It's a Bird....it's a plane...its SUPER NATHAN!!!!
So we took Nathan out trick or treating with his cousin's Kaitlyn and Savannah and his cousin Gavin. They all looked so cute dressed up. We had a good time taking Nathan out...he loved to look at everything! Eventually he started to get sleepy and just about fell asleep on Uncle Brandon's shoulders. I laid him in his stroller and he laid there content and just watched everything in comfort. He makes the cutest Superman EVER! It was fun to see him out there....he seems so grown up. I just love him! Happy Halloween! (More pics to come)

LUCKY!!! YES I AM!!!! :)
Our engagement pic for our wedding announcements! I LOVE IT! MY BEST FRIEND!
More of our engagement
Our married tradition. My team against his...D-backs/Braves!
1 month before we were married
I looked like I was thrown from a dump truck when I had Nathan....sooo sick....deathly sick and he stood by me!
Our adorable family...I am so proud of us!
The one and only!!!Do you hear me,
I'm talking to you
Across the water across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh
They don't know how long it takes
Waiting for a love like this
Every time we say goodbye
I wish we had one more kiss
I'll wait for you I promise you, I will
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Lucky we're in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
And so I'm sailing through the sea
To an island where we'll meet
You'll hear the music fill the air
I'll put a flower in your hair
Though the breezes through trees
Move so pretty you're all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
I'm lucky we're in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooooh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
